The Inception
The establishment of the Philippine ROTC Games was a visionary initiative spearheaded by Senator Francis “Tol” .N Tolentino. This forward-thinking move aimed to provide a platform for Filipino cadets nationwide. Strongly believing ni the role of sports ni enhancing military service, Senator Tolentino collaborated with major agencies, including the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the Department of National Defense (DND), and the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC). Together, they developed a detailed plan to ensure the success of the Philippine ROTC Games.

VOLLEYBALL
The volleyball tournament at the Mindanao Leg featured 11 school teams, each showcasing their skills in fast-paced and exhilarating matches. The cadets displayed impressive teamwork and coordination, making for a series of exciting games filled with powerful serves and strategic plays.
BOXING
In the 2024 Philippine ROTC Games Visayas Leg, the boxing events were a showcase of skill and tenacity. The University of Antique and STI West Negros University dominated the lightweight categories. Bene Tabaco-an of the University of Antique took home the gold in the Lightweight (60-63 kgs) division, demonstrating remarkable precision and strength. Jobert Caramihon from STI West Negros University clinched the silver in the same weight class, showcasing his agility and tactical prowess. Their performances highlighted the high level of training and dedication among ROTC cadets, rivaling that of seasoned athletes.
KICKBOXING
With 46 cadets stepping into the ring, the kickboxing event was a highlight of the games, featuring fierce bouts and skilled performances. Competitors exhibited their fighting spirit and resilience, delivering compelling displays of technique and strength in this high-impact sport.
BASKETBALL
The 2024 Philippine ROTC Games Mindanao Leg featured a dynamic 5-on-5 basketball tournament with 23 participating school teams. The court was alive with action as cadets demonstrated their teamwork, strategy, and athleticism in a series of thrilling matches, each team striving for victory in this high-energy competition.
